Our Teacher

Angela was a teacher in the Las Vegas area for over twenty four years and is now teaching in Aiken, South Carolina.  Angela has taught both in the public school system as well as a Christian Private School. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  She has her Master of Arts in Education from Prescott College with an emphasis in Equine-Assisted Learning.  Angela has had horses in her life now for about twelve years.  

Several years ago, she asked God how to combine her love for horses and her love for kids.  That led to her journey at Prescott College, learning how to combine these two loves in her life. Along that path, she was introduced to the Horse Powered Reading Program® developed by Dr. Michele Pickel out of Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota.  She immediately knew that she had found what she was looking for!  Now she is able to blend these two loves of her life together. 

Angela has been married to her loving and supportive husband Greg for over 28 years. They have two children, Megan and Gregory, who are 24 and 22.
