Aiken County Public Library
Tuesday October 1st, LEARN Aiken Foundation is partnering once again to bring our Horse Powered Reading® Program to the Aiken County Public Library in connection with fall break schedule.
Read and play educational games with miniature horses. Wear closed toe shoes. Registration required at the circulation desk at the library or by calling (803) 642-2020 ext. 1121.
For 5K - 5th grade.Two sessions 10:30am-11:15am and 11:30am-12:15pm
You must call or stop in to the library to register.
This event is at no cost to you, brought to you by a grant from The Gifting Tree Foundation.
Lassos for Learning
LEARN Aiken will host its first fundraiser. On Saturday October 26th we will be hosting a family fun event with a ground roping competition in downtown Aiken on Newberry St. This is for all ages. There will be live music, food vendors, western wear vendors, ropes for sale, a beer truck, a silent auction with great items available for bid, free books for kids, and much more.
